The LM318N / NOPB is a high speed and precision op amp designed for applications requiring high bandwidth and high speed response. This amp features a factor of ten speed increases over general purpose devices without sacrificing DC performance. The LM118 series has internal unity gain frequency compensation. This greatly simplifies its application as no external components are required for operation. However, unlike most internally compensated amplifiers, external frequency compensation can be added for optimal performance. For reversing applications, lead compensation will increase speed.
