Technology thanks to the principle of capacitive detection, the equipment detects the approach of the human hand. Capacitive push buttons with dynamic sensing ignore disturbing influences such as water, ice sheets or foreign bodies. However, activation is possible eg with work gloves or single-use gloves. Capacitive static sensing pushbuttons detect hands and objects as long as the active surface is damped. Non-contact capacitive pushbuttons also switch to glass beams. Compared with mechanical switches, non-contact capacitive pushbuttons have wear-free operation. Since they react to the approach, it is not necessary to apply any pressure.
