The LM386M-1 / NOPB is a low power, wide input voltage (Vin) range audio amplifier with internal gain, designed for use in low voltage consumer applications. The gain is internally adjusted to 20 to keep the number of external parts reduced, but adding an external resistor and capacitor between pins 1 and 8 increases the gain to any value between 20 and 200. The inputs are referenced. to ground, while the output is automatically adjusted to half the supply voltage. Quiescent current draw is only 24mW when operating from a 6V supply, making the LM386 ideal for battery operation
