The LM311N / NOPB is an 8-pin DIP package voltage comparator. It is designed to operate over a wide range of supply voltages from standard op amp supplies of ± 15V to single 5V supply for circuit logic. The comparator output is compatible with RTL, DTL and TTL as well as MOS circuits. The LM311N controls lamps or relays, with switching voltages up to 50V at currents as high as 50mA. The inputs and outputs of the LM311N can be isolated from system ground and the output can control loads referenced to ground. Provides offset and strobe balancing capability and outputs can be wired.
