This powerful yet easy to program (only 35 single word instructions), 8-bit CMOS FLASH microcontroller packs Microchip's powerful PIC® architecture in a 28-pin package. The PIC16F883 features 256 bytes of EEPROM data memory, self-programming, an ICD, 2 comparators, 11 10-bit analog-to-digital (A / D) converter channels, 1 capture / compare / PWM, and 1 capture / enhanced functions. comparison / PWM, a synchronous serial port that can be configured as 3-Wire Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI ™) or 2-Wire Integrated Circuit Bus (I²C ™) and an Enhanced Universal Asynchronous Transmitter Receiver (EUSART).
